On the result's detail page, click the Download icon .

In the Download Reference Details window:
- (Optional) You may edit the auto-generated file name.

Select a file type:
- Citation (.ris) is readable by some database programs.
- Excel (.xlsx)
- PDF and Rich Text (.rtf) will contain search task history and live links to view results in CAS SciFinder.
- Quoted (.txt) is readable by Microsoft Excel® and reference managers.
- Tagged (.txt) is readable by EndNote® and other citation managers.
- Click the Download button.
