Access Interactive Patent

Access an interactive version of the patent that highlights specific locations of indexed substances.

Add to Project

Click the Save button and then select Add to Project to add the result to a new or existing project.

Download Detail

Download reference detail to an .ris, .pdf, .rtf, or .txt file. Note: PDF downloads include search task history.

Save/Share Detail

Click the ribbon icon, and then:

  • Select Save Result to save the reference detail.

  • Select Share Results to share the detail via email.

Set Citing Alert

Click the bell icon to set a citing alert for the reference.

Request Prior Art Analysis

If the reference is a patent, request a prior art analysis that contains both patent and non-patent literature.

View Citation Map

Click the Citation Map button to view a map of references the result cites and references that cite the result.

View Expanded Information

Click the information type in the list to view the expanded information section further down the page:

  • Classifications: IPC codes for basic patent and patent family members
  • CAS Concepts: Concepts that characterize the reference's general subject matter
  • Substances: The reference's indexed substances
  • Formulations: The reference's formulation data
  • Cited Documents: The reference's citations
  • Markush Structures: The reference's indexed Markush structures.
  • Claims: View CAS indexing in context of claims text, as well as compare claims text across multiple patents.

View Patent Reference

Click a PatentPak Option to view the patent reference.

View Related Data

Click the Substances, Reactions, or Cited By buttons to retrieve data related to a reference result.

If the reference detail is for a journal, there are additional options.

Click to view the document source/pdf or information about purchasing it.

View DOI Resource

Click the DOI link to view the webpage or resource associated with the digital object identifier.
