Find Patent References by Assignee

Using Advanced Search, you may find patent references by assignee. In the following example, we want to find any patent references with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as the assignee.

1. Select the References search type.
   
   
   
   
2. Click Select > Organization.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the patent assignee name. As you enter text, you may also select one of the suggestions that appear.
   
   
   
   
4. Click the icon.
   
   
   
   
5. On the References page, filter the results by Document Type > Patent.
   
   

We are now seeing patent reference results with "Pfizer" and "Pharmaceuticals" in the Assignee field.
